Version Comparison
To address the needs of users in a variety of business environments, ELM Computer Systems Inc. offers five versions of T4 TimeSaver. Databases are fully interchangeable between T4 TimeSaver Basic, Plus and Enterprise. Refer to the table below for a complete comparison of product features.

T4 TimeSaver Online - This web-based application provides access to T4, T4A and T5 returns from any computer with internet capability. T4 TimeSaver Online is available only as an Internet application.

T4 TimeSaver Lite - Combining functionality and low cost, T4 TimeSaver Lite gives firms of any size access to the power and utility of T4 TimeSaver and provides an easy upgrade path to the enhanced features of the advanced versions.

T4 TimeSaver Basic - T4 TimeSaver Basic serves as a powerful tool for firms needing to produce a wider range of returns than is possible with T4 TimeSaver Lite and which have no need to import data from third-party applications or to batch submit electronic returns. T4 TimeSaver Basic will open databases created with T4 TimeSaver Plus and Enterprise.

T4 TimeSaver Plus - T4 TimeSaver Plus adds additional features to the Basic version and is a very powerful tax slip preparation package. Upgraded features include: the ability to import data from QuickBooks, Excel and XML ; batch filing of electronic returns; partnership forms and multi-user network support, T4 TimeSaver Plus is the perfect tool to help you file tax returns quickly and safely. T4 TimeSaver Plus will open databases created with T4 TimeSaver Basic and Enterprise.

T4 TimeSaver Enterprise - Designed for agencies filing significant numbers of returns (in the tens of thousands), T4 TimeSaver Enterprise is our most powerful tax slip preparation package. Features upgraded from the Plus version include: the addition of enhanced filing status reporting; trustee assignments and a system event viewer. T4 TimeSaver Enterprise will open databases created with T4 TimeSaver Basic and Plus.
